About Us
In 1915 William C and Lorena B Irvine purchased 9.5 acres on O'Brien Avenue in Gridley. They had plans to plant orchards and raise farm animals. They built a 2 story home and the family moved in. The year was 1916 and 3 children grew up in the house under a large Valley Oak tee. Under this tree Mrs. Irvine wrapped and packed the fist crop of peaches.

The house and oak tree still remind the family of all of their Irvine great grandparents, parents and grandparents and the hard work expended over the years.
Practices
The acres were planted with freestone peaches, cling peaches and apples. More acres were planted with prunes, plums, apricots, nectarines and cherries. Today over 104 years later the farm and orchards are cared for by the grandson Bud Waller and great-grandsons Larry and Bill Waller. Bud's wife Ellena and daughter Sheryl pack the fresh fruits and sell it to customers. Today, Sheryl's son Canada Ryker is farming the family ranch.
