Rick and Debbie Olney created a family Mandarin Farm on their property in Orland, visible from I-5 just south of Orland. They take great pride in providing Satsuma Mandarins that have been planted by their family, matured and packaged by family and friends. They are very supportive of the community and provide Mandarins for fundraisers and stores around the Northstate.

The farm is located on a more gravelly soil which doesn't impact the flavor at all but it seems to produce a larger mandarin, perfect size for stores. The water comes from the properties well and is distributed using micro-sprinklers. The micro-sprinklers help when the temperature dips below freezing. All mandarins are picked when ripe and delivered straight to the store.
