About Us
Barb and Dan operate a family owned and operated farm located near the Sacramento river in Colusa, CA, Purchased in 1986, we now grow over 60 varieties of tree fruit, including asian pears, peaches, nectarines, pluots, apples, fuyu persimmons, nectaplums, and pomegranates.
O’Connell Ranch is a family farming and cattle ranch operation that proudly grows an assortment of beautiful, seasonal, locally grown, high quality fruits including: Fuyu Persimmons, Asian Pears, Yellow and White Peaches, Yellow and White Nectarines, Pluots and European Pear varieties (including Taylor’s Gold).
Dan and Barbara are very “hands on” in all aspects of the farming operation, offering farm fresh, healthy fruits. The ranch features a “FRESH” produce stand, “ Barb’s Produce” where school classes, 4-H Clubs and adult groups enjoy learning the important lessons of a real working family ranch.

Practices
Conventional Farming practices are used year round. We pick our fruit when it is ripe so it is sweeter and fresher for our customers. We live on the ranch so make sure to keep the ranch sustainable and safe for all of our friends, customers and family.
